May 3 - June 7th. This is a 6 week course. Building projects will be serving vessels and clay shelves. Design techniques will be slip trailing and sgraffito.

Learn all about making functional and sculptural objects in clay, for 3rd to 5th graders. We will begin with the basics – pinch, coil, and slab built forms and experiment with terra cotta and porcelain clay bodies. We will fire our art pieces with an array of engobes, washes, and glazes. All firings are included.

Beginners to advanced learners are welcome, ages 7-11. Class size is small to insure individual attention. 4 to 6 students maximum.
